Buying the new Doom on Fri the 13th was my first mistake. Reloaded steam on my pc and downloaded the new Doom game. After downloading the game I had nothing but trouble getting the game to start up. Once the game finally got running it was nothing special. I then went to play BF4 and my game ran so bad I couldn't play it. I had trouble in the past with steam so I decided to uninstall the game and steam. After uninstalling I was able to get BF4 to play but all my settings were back to the way they were when you install BF4, so I had to reset everything in the game. After doing this I then realized that I lost all my picture folders that were on my desktop and that all my games on my pc had lost their saved files so now I have to start all over with them. I even lost all my favs on IE. I had sites on there that I might never find again. ONE VERY UNHAPPY CAMPER!!!!!

If it's windows 7 or better, you can right-click on a folder and goto "previous versions." See if there is anything left?

I believe you can refund it if you have less than 2 hours in the game.

Don't know if that is what Ben means by rollback.

^ Ha - walmart thing... That does suck though. What didn't you like about doom (besides the making everything else suck)? I have been eyeballing it for some time now.

I rebuilt my pc a couple of weeks ago and reinstalled Doom and steam and it's now running and playing without any issues.
